I am getting closer to having a working batch fix for the doors and windows. Just got the sims 4 update. Same i have a lot of cc but some of my maxis arches and doors are broken. Hi i just got a new update in my game the sims 4 and all of my custom content doors and windows are greyed out.

10 points 8 days ago. I looked it up and tried all the solutions i found such as repairing my game and turning my graphics up. I tried using non custom content windows and doors work. Players can now stack windows without them glitching and overlapping.

The update from 3 september 2020 expanded on the free placing of windows and doors released with the eco lifestyle patch earlier in the year. However all my cc windows and cc doors are not clipping to the walls and are not working anymore. Out of date or just bad sims 4 cc can easily be found and deleted with the sims 4 tray importer. Now we can put windows next to each other using the alt key and on top of each other without them bugging which is really nice.

Looks like all the doors and windows cc might need to be updated. For sure the ones that are completely rectangular can be batch fixed. Cc doors and windows are technically still usable but the update means that none of these are rendering properly when placed on walls. I believe it was in the sims 4 chat thread.
