University life expands the feature so that individual sims can be granted access or prohibited from using a specific door. The door is then unlocked for the chosen sims and the active sim which you have used to unlock the door. Just like at the clubs in sims 3 you had to be a member of to get into. There are also more standard locks like the ability to lock a door so only your sim can get in or being able to lock it for a household.

I m really tired of sims barging in on other sims. You could lock doors by moving the door from your room to your inventory and then put it back on the wall when you need it but otherwise no. Lock for certain sims. Ea are you listening.

Now the door will be invisible until the player selects inspect at the wall and discovers the door there. If you place a barrier rope in front of the stairs then nonemployees could not go up or down stairs. The gohere door locking filters have been fussy along the way they are much more stable now. Like the sims 3 players can restrict doors for individual sims.
